Manchester United forward Anthony Martial admits that he finds Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane entertaining to watch.

After a breakthrough 2014/15 campaign, Kane started the current season slowly, leading to accusations that he could be a one-season wonder, but the striker has proved his detractors thoroughly wrong.

With 25 goals in all competitions, the England international is considered one of the top marksmen in Europe and arguably the top striker in the Premier League, with two wonderful seasons under his belt.

His tally of 22 league goals is the highest for a Tottenham player in any season during the Premier League era, and Martial is a big fan of his fellow forward.

The Frenchman feels Kane’s second season has proved that he is a top striker, with a number of years of football ahead of him.

"He’s a top player and he’s also still only young", Martial told MUTV.

“He had a great season last year and he’s underlined just how good he is this time around.

"He’s a quality player who is very entertaining to watch.”

He also added that with forwards such as Kane and the defensive solidity they have shown, it is no surprise that Tottenham are fighting for the title.

"Spurs are a team who defend well with a lot of aggression and stay compact as a unit.

"They have a lot of ability up top and that’s why they find themselves currently in second place in the table."

Martial and Manchester United will be looking to further dent Tottenham’s title hopes with a win over them on Sunday at White Hart Lane.
