Leeds United head coach Steve Evans has insisted that the club are planning for next season, but remained non-committal about his future at Elland Road.
A recent run of poor results has raised question about Evans’ future at the club, and there are suggestions that Leeds might not offer him a new contract at the end of the season.
Leeds owner Massimo Cellino has a history of getting rid of managers frequently and his time at Elland Road has not been different, leading to concerns from the fans that the club have no roadmap for the future.
However, Evans reassured the fans that the club are planning for the future, and have things in place for next season, but indicated the player recruitment would depend on his future at Elland Road.
And the Scot refused to provide any assurances to anyone that he will continue as Leeds manager in the 2016/17 campaign.

The Leeds manager said in a press conference: “There is a lot of planning going on behind the scenes.
“Of course on things like player recruitment, if I was not to be here then people might have different opinions.
"I wouldn’t wish someone else to do my recruitment and me coming in post that is not what you want as a manager.
“But there is lot of hard work going on behind the scenes into next season – for pre-season, for dates, for programs, for opposition – everything that goes around that.
“The only thing that has to be done is a decision by the president; I know how I would like that to go, and sometimes you get things you like, sometimes you don’t.”
Evans has seven games left in the season to prove that he is good enough to continue as Leeds manager next season.
