Meslier made his loan move from French side Lorient to Leeds permanent last summer and has established himself as the Whites’ first choice goalkeeper in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old has been one of the most impressive performers for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, keeping nine clean sheets from 28 league appearances so far.

Having impressed in Leeds’ first top flight season in 16 years, Meslier has now emerged as a target for French champions PSG, who have been tracking his progress.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are considering a move for the former Lorient goalkeeper as they look to bolster their squad for the 2021/21 campaign.

PSG number 1 Keylor Navas is 34 years old and the Ligue 1 champions are said to be on the lookout for a goalkeeper to replace the Costa Rican.

The European heavyweights have been associated with moves for Tottenham Hotspur captain Hugo Lloris and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea.

Though the Premier League duo have been linked with a move away from their clubs, there are concerns about dealing with Tottenham chief Daniel Levy, and De Gea’s wages.

The concerns around Lloris and De Gea have left Meslier as an attainable option for PSG and it is said that the goalkeeper could be tempted to make the switch back to his homeland.
