The Addicks are on the prowl for a new man at the helm, having parted way with Johnnie Jackson following an underwhelming League One campaign.
Charlton’s hierarchy are in the process of identifying candidates to take over the vacant managerial role at the club and have rekindled their interest in Beale, who they previously considered as a candidate to replace Nigel Adkins in 2021.
Beale is currently assistant to Steven Gerrard at Aston Villa, following a spell at Rangers as first team coach.
Addicks supremo Thomas Sandgaard is a firm admirer of Beale and see him as one coach that can lead the club in the direction they want to go.
Charlton would have to pay Aston Villa an amount in compensation to be able to appoint Beale as their boss, but Sandgaard is likely to have no issues stumping up the cash.
In addition to the Charlton job, Beale is also tipped to be in the running for the manager’s chair at several Championship outfits in the summer.
It remains to be seen whether Charlton will look to convince Beale to take over as manager at the Valley ahead of next season.
