The midfielder will be leaving Marseille on a free transfer this summer and his contractual situation has caught the attention of several clubs in Europe.

A number of teams have been looking to snap up the midfielder and Aston Villa met his representatives recently to convince him to move to the Midlands this summer.

The Villans are also ready to match his wage demands but there are claims that he has agreed to join Spanish giants Atletico Madrid.

Los Colchoneros are indeed in talks to sign him, but it has been claimed that his move to the Wanda Metropolitano is far from a certainty at the moment.

Negotiations are under way but Atletico Madrid are yet to get any deal over the line, according to Sky Italia’s Matteo Moretto.

Kamara is also likely to be considering offers, including an ambitious one from Aston Villa ahead of the summer.

A decision is expected to be made and while Atletico Madrid are in the race, the midfielder is yet to sign anything with them.
