Eriksen managed to impress in the latter half of last season in the Premier League, playing on a short-term deal at Brentford having returned to the pitch.
The Dane is set to be a free agent this summer but the Bees are keen to keep him, while he has also attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham.
However, former top flight stat Agbonlahor feels Eriksen could find himself a club that are better than Manchester United, who are going through a rebuilding phase under new boss Erik ten Hag following yet another disappointing season.
Agbonlahor stressed that Eriksen’s former club Tottenham remain an option for him, where Antonio Conte, who he worked with at Inter is currently in charge.
“I think he [Eriksen] has got a relationship with Conte, does he not?”, Agbonlahor told talkSPORT
“He was his manager at Inter Milan, so that is an option for him.
“But maybe he will not want to go back to a club that he has already been at, the way he left as well was not great.
“I am sure he has got so many options.
“Talk about Manchester United, but, I do not know, maybe he can do better than Manchester United.”
All eyes will be on where Eriksen ends up playing next season, with a host of Premier League keen to secure his services ahead of next season.
