The Albanian midfielder is wanted at several clubs this summer due to an impressive season in Italy with Empoli.

Newcastle have been keeping tabs on him with a view to potentially taking him to the Premier League this summer.

But there is serious interest in him amongst clubs in Italy, with Inter believed to be the favourites to sign the midfielder in the upcoming transfer window.

Inter have been laying down the groundwork for a deal and according to Italian broadcaster Sportitalia, the club are now prepared to put in a bid.

The Nerazzurri are ready to put in a cash offer, which would involve a loan deal with a mandatory purchase clause.

Inter are prepared to do a deal for a final fee of €10m plus various add-ons to further top up the price.

The Serie A giants are confident of getting a deal done and are pushing ahead with their attempt to sign Asllani this summer.
