Afobe has a year left on his contract with Stoke, but has been heavily linked with a move away from the club during the ongoing transfer window.

Watford are interested in the striker and are claimed to have made an offer for his services as they look to strengthen up top.

Stoke are suggested to have given Afobe permission to speak to three clubs and it now appears Watford are set to miss out on him.

Now the Stoke star is set to move to Belgian giants Club Brugge permanently this summer.

Afobe only has 12 months left on his contract at Stoke and the Potters appear to be keen to avoid losing him on a free transfer.

In the previous season the striker was sent on loan to Millwall and he made 38 appearances for them in the Championship.

He also netted 12 strikes for Millwall this past campaign and he now takes his goalscoring talents to Club Brugge, who also have Champions League football to offer.
