The race to sign the 21-year-old Belgian has been heating up with Club Brugge increasingly appearing to be resigned to losing him this summer.
AC Milan are interested in taking him to the San Siro and have been in talks with Club Brugge over signing De Ketelaere in the ongoing transfer window.
They even tabled a bid, but Club Brugge were quick to reject the offer of €20m plus another €5m in add-ons.
And according to Italian sports daily Tuttosport, Club Brugge have made their financial expectations for a deal to sell the midfielder clear.
The Belgian giants want to bag a fee in the region of €35m before agreeing to sell the player.
Leeds are reportedly prepared to offer €30m, which is more than AC Milan’s first bid and closer to Club Brugge’s demands.
However, the midfielder would prefer a move to AC Milan given their stature and the fact that they are a Champions League club.
A move to Leeds does not appeal to him at the moment but the Whites remain interested in trying to sign De Ketelaere.
