Whites boss Jesse Marsch wants to sign another striker before the transfer window closes and admitted on Tuesday night that he is keen on Hwang.

The Yorkshire giants are now locked in talks with Wolves in an effort to land the South Korean and they are prepared to pay up to £18m.

Despite making a profit in the summer transfer window, cash appears to be tight at Elland Road and it is suggested if Hwang comes in then James could leave.

The former Manchester United winger is interesting Tottenham, while Everton are also admirers.

Leeds could bring in cash from selling James and put it towards snapping up Hwang.

The Whites are not the only side interested in Wolves’ attacker though as Everton manager Frank Lampard also rates him.

With talks now under way between Leeds and Wolves though, Marsch will hope the Whites’ deal-makers can get him his man.
