The Tottenham defender has been linked with a move away from Spurs all summer with interest from several clubs across Europe.

 

AC Milan have held talks over signing the centre-back on loan but Nottingham Forest are the ones who are prepared to fork out the cash to sign him on a permanent deal.

 

 

The Midlands club have signed 18 players this summer but their interest in Tanganga persists going into the final day of the transfer window.

 

But it has been claimed that there has been a shift in the thinking of Spurs regarding the centre-back.

 

 

The north London club are now keen to keep hold of the centre-back beyond Thursday’s transfer deadline.

 

Tanganga was a bit part player at Tottenham last season and is yet to feature for Antonio Conte’s side in the ongoing campaign.

 

 

But Spurs are now pushing to hold onto the defender and keep him around the first-team squad this season.

 

Tanganga wants to play regular football and Nottingham Forest are keen to sign him but Spurs have had a change of heart late in the window.
