Wan-Bissaka has made just one four-minute cameo appearance in the Premier League this season and has lost his place in the eleven to Diogo Dalot.

 

It emerged early in the summer that Erik ten Hag wants to move the England international on as he feels he is not suited for his style of football.

 

 

But the Manchester United manager stressed on Wednesday that the defender is going to continue at Old Trafford beyond the end of the ongoing window.

 

However, his representatives met Manchester United today and requested permission to seek a loan move on deadline day.

 

 

But Manchester United rejected the proposition and insisted that they are not going to let the player go.

 

Ten Hag assured Wan-Bissaka, who has been linked with Crystal Palace throughout the summer, that he will get opportunities to play this season but his camp remain suspect.

 

 

They were not impressed with the way Manchester United refused to cooperate to sell or loan him despite him not being suited for the new manager’s style.

 

Wan-Bissaka’s camp believe he is being kept at the club as the cover for Dalot rather than a genuine option for regular minutes.
