The 20-year-old centre-back has piqued interest from English outfit Tottenham, who are determined to strengthen their defence next season.

Lukeba has a contract with Lyon that runs out at the end of 2024/25 season and the French outfit have offered him a new contract extension, which he has not signed yet.

The centre-back, who is aware of Tottenham’s interest in him, insisted that he is not concerned about his future at the moment and stated his aim to finish the season strongly with Lyon.

However, Lukeba also added that he will consider his future options after the ongoing season has concluded.

“I’m not thinking about my future at the moment”, Lukeba was quoted as saying by French outlet Foot Sur 7.

“The most important thing is to play the three remaining matches and win them.

“Everything concerning my future and the things outside of sports, I put that aside and we will see that at the end of the season.”

Tottenham have yet to make an official bid for the young defender and it remains to be seen whether Lyon will be able to convince Lukeba to commit his future to the French outfit.
