The 23-year-old attacking midfielder is high on David Moyes’ transfer wish list and West Ham are keen on landing him.

Hammers technical director Tim Steidten flew to Amsterdam to discuss a deal for Kudus with Ajax recently, but headed back empty handed.

West Ham saw their first two bids rejected by the Dutch outfit as they failed to meet their valuation.

And it is suggested that the Hammers latest bid, consisting of €41m plus €3m in add-ons with 10 per cent of a future sale, might convince Ajax.

And now it has been claimed that West Ham are hoping to conclude a deal for the Ghanaian international within this week as they are finalising the details with Ajax.

It is suggested that the personal terms have already been agreed with the player, with Kudus agreeing a five-year deal with West Ham.

If all goes well, Kudus will become the fourth signing for West Ham this summer and join his former Ajax team-mate Edson Alvarez at the London Stadium.
