The 27-year-old Spurs centre-back has been the centre of attention from several European outfits this summer.

French side Rennes are showing keenness to sign him and they tabled a €9m bid, which Tottenham rejected; Rennes remain interested.

Dutch outfit PSV are also admirers of Sanchez’s talents and they submitted an enquiry to Tottenham regarding the player early this week.

Spurs want a fee in the region of €15m to €20m which is considered too high by PSV.

However, the Eredivisie outfit have retained their interest in Sanchez and according to Dutch daily the Eindhovens Dagblad, PSV are expected to keep pushing Tottenham to sign Sanchez.

It has been suggested that the north London outfit are not in a rush to sell the centre-back as he is still part of Ange Postecogou’s plans.

With less than 48 hours remaining before the end of the transfer window, all eyes will be on PSV to see whether they will be able to agree a deal with Tottenham for Sanchez.
