Newcastle United target Serhou Guirassy is still not convinced about leaving Germany in the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old striker has netted 17 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances this season and has been heavily linked with a move away from VfB Stuttgart.

Guirassy has interest from the Premier League, where Newcastle are amongst the clubs to have been linked with wanting him.

The forward is also attracting interest from Italy, where AC Milan have been pushing to sign him in the winter transfer window; they are encountering issues agreeing on a salary package with his entourage.

And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it, Guirassy is still not inclined to leave Germany in January.

He is comfortable with life at Stuttgart and is not pushing for a transfer in the middle of the season.

Guirassy has a €17.5m release clause in his contract but he needs to be convinced before any club can trigger that.

It remains to be seen whether any of his suitors manage to convince the forward to leave Stuttgart in the January transfer window.
