West Ham United have shown no sign of offering Pablo Fornals a new contract owing to which as many as three clubs from Spain have started lurking, looking to get him on a free transfer.
Fornals has been with the Hammers since 2019 and has just featured in his 200th game for the club.
However, he is nearing the end of his contract with David Moyes’ side and will be a free agent after 30th June next year.
According to Spanish outlet Fichajes, there has been no sign of West Ham offering Fornals a contract to extend his stay at the London Stadium, with no negotiations taking place.
As a result, Sevilla, Villarreal and Real Sociedad have all emerged as possible destinations for Fornals in the summer.
Fornals, 27, has already played for Villarreal and a return to the Yellow Submarine may appeal to him.
Sevilla represent a big club option for the midfielder, while Real Sociedad are in this season’s Champions League and currently sit sixth in La Liga.
It now remains to be seen where Fornals’ future lies beyond next summer and whether the Hammers eventually offer him the chance to extend his stay.
