West Ham United defender Thilo Kehrer has emerged onto the shortlist of Atalanta but he is not a priority target for the Italian club, it has been claimed in Italy.

The 27-year-old centre-back has been on the fringes of the West Ham first-team squad this season.

He has featured just twice from the bench in the Premier League since September and the German is expected to leave West Ham in the January transfer window.

Sevilla and Eintracht Frankfurt have been interested in him and he has also been on the radar of Serie A giants AC Milan.

And according to local daily Corriere di Bergamo (via Tutto Mercato), Kehrer is also on the shortlist of targets for another Italian club.

It has been claimed that Atalanta have also put his name down on their shortlist of defensive options.

The Bergamo club are in the market for a centre-back and the German is a player they are tracking.

However, he is not a priority target as Atalanta are most interested in Genoa’s Radu Dragusin.

Kehrer is still likely to leave West Ham on loan but for the moment, no deal is in place with any club.
