Leeds United look set to keep Willy Gnonto this month with there being no rumblings of a move away from Elland Road, according to the Athletic.
Gnonto wanted to leave Leeds last summer and a number of Premier League sides looked at signing him.
Everton emerged as the leading contenders for Gnonto and the winger even refused to play to try to force through a move.
However, the Whites stood firm and Gnonto is currently plying his trade in the Championship with Daniel Farke’s team.
Gnonto’s time on the pitch though has been limited of late and it has been suggested he could again be wanted this month.
However, there are no rumblings of a move away from Leeds for Gnonto this month.
With the Whites pushing for promotion back to the top flight at the end of the season, Farke does not want to risk weakening his squad and is unlikely to part ways with Gnonto.
The tensions that had been created between the club and Gnonto have long since subsided.
And there is little suggestion that Gnonto will be heading to the Premier League this month.
