Hull City boss Liam Rosenior wants Liverpool attacker Fabio Carvalho signing up in time to face Norwich City on Friday night, according to the Daily Mail.

The Tigers look poised to beat off competition from a host of Championship sides, including Southampton and Leeds United, to land Carvalho on loan.

Liverpool have been impressed by the pitch put forward by Hull and are prepared to trust them to get the attacker back on track following a disappointing loan spell in Germany.

And Hull boss Rosenior wants to give Carvalho the chance to make a quick impact.

Rosenior is keen to get the Liverpool man signed and registered in time for him to play against Norwich on Friday.

Hull are due to play host to David Wagner’s Canaries and Rosenior wants to be able to call upon Carvalho.

Rosenior’s men are sitting just outside the playoff spots in the Championship and Carvalho will be looking for game time and to push them up into promotion contention.

Hull are due to visit Southampton before the end of the month, putting Carvalho up against a side that wanted to secure his signature.
