Paris Saint-Germain are looking at the possibility of signing Leeds United loan star Diego Llorente this month.

The French giants are keen to add another centre-back to the ranks in the winter transfer window, but have faced frustration with several possible options.

Now PSG are thinking of other options and Leeds defender Llorente, who is currently on loan at Italian side Roma, is in their thoughts.

According to French outlet Foot Mercato, PSG are working on potentially signing Llorente and Roma coach Jose Mourinho would not be opposed to letting the Spaniard go.

He is a player that PSG coach Luis Enrique knows well and the boss would be pleased to be able to call upon Llorente.

The defender triggered a clause in his Leeds contract in the summer to depart Elland Road on loan.

He headed to Roma and has clocked regular game time, making 17 appearances in Serie A for the Giallorossi.

Roma though have been linked with bringing in a centre-back this month; the Giallorossi may want to do so before agreeing to cut short Llorente’s loan.
