Djed Spence is set to go to Genoa on loan as part of the deal for Tottenham Hotspur to sign Radu Dragusin in the ongoing transfer window, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

Tottenham appear to have a broad agreement in place to sign Dragusin from Genoa this month.

The north London club are set to pay a fee of €25m plus €5m in add-ons to take the Romanian to the Premier League in January.

The two clubs are now working out the details of the agreement but there is another aspect to the deal as well.

It has been claimed that Spence will be going to Genoa on loan as part of the deal.

The defender spent the first half of the season on loan at Leeds but the Whites cut short his stay earlier this month.

He is not part of Ange Postecoglou’s plans this season and Tottenham want to loan him out again this month.

Genoa have been offered the chance to sign Spence on loan as part of the Dragusin deal.

The two clubs are still negotiating the details of the agreement but Spence is set to spend the rest of the season in Italy.
