Leeds United are open to offers for 21-year-old midfielder Lewis Bate in the ongoing winter transfer window, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Bate spent last season on loan at Oxford United and was impressive with his performances in League One.
He has though made just one senior appearance for Leeds this season and that too in the EFL Cup.
The 21-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the ongoing campaign and is not part of Daniel Farke’s plans going forward.
It has been claimed that Leeds are looking to offload Bate before the transfer window closes in the coming weeks.
Leeds are keen to entertain offers for a player who will be out of contract in the next summer transfer window.
The Whites are hopeful that clubs in the lower leagues will come forward with offers for Bate in the coming days and weeks.
Leeds would still be due compensation even if he sees out his contract and leaves in the summer due to his age.
