Fixture: Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur
Competition: Premier League
Kick-off: 16:30 UK time
Tottenham Hotspur have named their team and substitutes to lock horns with Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United side at Old Trafford in the Premier League this afternoon.
Ange Postecoglou’s side have now won five of their last six games across all competitions and sit just a single point and a place behind fourth placed Arsenal.
Today’s encounter against top four rivals in the shape of Manchester United could be crucial as if Spurs can win at Old Trafford they will pull eleven points clear of the Red Devils.
However, Tottenham have lost both their last visits to Old Trafford and Manchester United mounted a superb comeback to beat Aston Villa 3-2 in their last home game.
Guglielmo Vicario is Tottenham’s goalkeeper this afternoon, while at the back Postecoglou picks Pedro Porro, Cristian Romero, Micky van de Ven and Destiny Udogie as a four.
In the engine room, Spurs go with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and Rodrigo Bentancur, while Oliver Skipp also plays. Brennan Johnson and Richarlison support Timo Werner in attack.
If changes need to be made then Postecoglou has options to call for from the bench and they include Radu Dragusin and Bryan Gil.
