Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona are showing interest in Hull City loan star Ruben Vinagre.

Hull signed the 24-year-old left-back on a season-long loan this summer from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

However, Vinagre has struggled to make a big impact with the Tigers with just ten outings to his name this term.

The former Wolves star has been dealing with a series of injuries since his arrival and made his last matchday squad on 13th December against Middlesbrough.

Liam Rosenior’s side are considering ending his loan spell with them to free up a loan spot.

Now, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Hellas Verona are interested in acquiring the services of Vinagre in the ongoing window.

Verona left-back Josh Doig is the centre of attention for several clubs in Europe and they are looking for replacements in the market.

It is also suggested that Hull are actively searching for a left-back to strengthen their defence.
