Leeds United attacker Willy Gnonto is not on West Ham United’s radar this month, according to the Daily Mirror.
Gnonto pushed hard to force his way out of Leeds last summer, even making himself unavailable to play, but the Whites did not receive an acceptable bid for him.
The Italy international wants to be playing regular football, which is not happening at Elland Road, and has again been linked with a move away this month.
It has been suggested that a move to West Ham is largely expected for Gnonto, as the Hammers bid to strengthen.
However, that talk is claimed to be wide of the mark, with West Ham not holding an interest in Gnonto now.
With West Ham looking to be out of the picture, all eyes will be on whether other clubs come calling for Gnonto this month.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke regularly prefers other options in attack.
Letting Gnonto go though would reduce the strength in depth that Farke can call upon for the final third.
